# Privacy Policy for Clock-o-matic

Clock-o-matic is available as both a Chrome extension for Google Slides and a standalone web app. We respect your privacy and keep your data on your device.

## Data We Collect

Clock-o-matic stores the following settings **locally on your device**:

- **Chrome Extension:** Uses Chrome's `storage.local` API
- **Web App:** Uses your browser's `localStorage`

Stored data includes:
- Clock position, size, and display mode (minimal mode)
- Time block configurations (minutes, labels, colors)
- Alarm schedule and sound preferences
- Label positions and manual offsets

This data is used solely to restore your clock experience. It is **never** transmitted to us or any third party.

## Data We Do NOT Collect

- Personal information (name, email, location)
- Presentation content or slide data
- Browsing history or usage analytics
- Any data on external servers

## Permissions (Extension Only)

- `activeTab`, `scripting`: Used to inject the clock UI only on Google Slides pages
- `storage`: Used to save and restore your preferences locally

## Donations

If you choose to click the in-app "Buy me a coffee" link, you will be taken to Buy Me a Coffee (a third-party site). Any interactions there are governed by their privacy policy.

## Changes

We may update this policy to reflect improvements or changes. Updates will be noted in release notes.
